Delete specific data
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific data. In the Corail app:
- Delete a session — open the session, tap the menu, tap Delete. Removes the session, its photo, and any comments or reactions on it, immediately and permanently.
- Delete a photo — open the session, tap the photo, tap Delete photo.
- Delete a comment — swipe or long-press your comment on any session, tap Delete.
All of these are immediate with no additional retention period, aside from standard short-term backup rotation at the infrastructure level.
If you no longer have access to the app, email privacy@corail.surf to request deletion of specific data instead.
Delete your account
To delete your Corail account and all associated data:
- Open the Corail app
- Go to Settings → Privacy & data
- Tap Delete my account and confirm
This is immediate and permanent — there is no waiting period. Deletion removes:
- Your profile and authentication credentials
- All your logged sessions, photos, and comments
- Your crew membership and social activity (coraux, comments you posted)
Nothing is retained beyond what our infrastructure provider's standard backup rotation may hold for a short period, outside of active use.
If you no longer have access to the app, email privacy@corail.surf to request deletion instead.
